Slug Monster

Mutated and overgrown this car sized slug monster trudges in the labrynths of dungeons seeking to satiate its unending hunger. In contrast to its slow cousin this beast is deceptively fast with its 8 limbs used to chase down and grab hold of prey. With only a desire to eat once it has found its next meal the hunt is unrelenting and should it findits preey too fast a long grasping tongue is launched from its mouth to latch onto and slow its victim pulling it into the monster's gaping maw lined with hundreds of hooked teeth.
Oozing sludge from its pores allows this monster to discover footprints of unfound food lurking in its dungeon habita and with many eyes all nooks and crannys of a room can be scoured to ensure no tasty morsal slips by unnoticed.
Often infected with parasites these monsters are not receptive to pain and often wander their homes with deep scars and exposed bones or vitals, their wounds telling stories of the final throes of previous meals.
